It's a beautiful Thing
One of the opportunities I give potential new clients is a Test Drive session. A quick mini session for us to get to know each other (break the ice as they say), talk about the clients plans for their big day or photoshoot, give them the chance to ask me questions and see my shooting style. This has really been a great way to meet new clients and build relationships. I met Macki and Austin for their Test Drive shoot for the first time. We met at a beautiful location on the Tennessee River that just blew me away! I immediately felt a connection with these two. The love they have for each other is so exciting and I so wanted to be a part of this journey with them. Macki is a gorgeous bride to be and is full of life and Austin is this tall great looking guy with an amazing sense of humor and a love like no other for Macki!
Thankfully, I was given the privilege to be their photographer and we recently had their engagement shoot and what blessing it was to work with these two. There are some couples you get around and they make you happy. Macki and Austin is that couple! We started off at the overlook at Guntersville State Park and WOW what a beautiful backdrop! Overlooking Guntersville Lake we climbed the fence and stood on the rock ledge to capture moments between the two love birds. We then drove down to the Guntersville Yacht Club to remake the boat scene from The Notebook! It was so much fun and a BIG thank you to Bruce Weddendorf for the use of his beautiful wood paddle boat! We captured some beautiful moments and had some laughs as well. Those boats can be pretty wobbly if you don't stay right in the middle of them. Some very slow posing going on! Haha!
Macki and Austin, Love you two and I can't wait to be a part of your wedding in October! You both are an inspiration of true love!
